“Brilliant is a musical worthy of the time and effort Dani Tapper took to create it”

“What this story does well is provide us not only a realistic insight to how a family deals with an atypical child, and the ramifications that can be caused by various views inside the home, but it also takes us inside the mind of Adam and his everyday struggles.”

“For those unfamiliar with the behavioral effects of HFASD, Brilliant provides some telling information. For those, like the playwright, who are, it offers catharsis and community.”

Regardless of whether you consider “Brilliant” unfinished business or a fait accompli, it is a “must see.” It cuts to the core dilemma of parents who must balance advocating for a special-needs child, while dealing emotionally and viscerally with the impact of their child’s struggle.

This is an extremely touching musical. It is deeply relatable not only for anyone who has ever had a child on the autism spectrum but for anyone who has ever had to face a difficult situation with a loved one and/or make a difficult decision on their behalf.

There should be a video of this production available to the countless families who feel they are all alone who can’t be part of a live audience. This production will reassure you, that you are not alone.
